About the Artist

Megan Bigelow is a photographic and mixed media artist specializing in abstract and still life photography. Although these styles are inherently different, both bodies of work focus on composition and are accented with purposeful color palettes. These qualities, along with the impressionistic style of her images, provide the foundation of Megan’s work. Recent series explore themes of emotions, beauty, and healing. This new work comes after a twelve-year break as an artist. 

Megan first explored photography in high school, then went on to receive her BFA in Studio Art with Honors from the University of Iowa in 2013.
